Our Mission
Proclaiming Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, as revealed in Holy Scripture, and serving all people for His sake.
Our Vision
We are a Christ-centered and Bible-based church, built on a foundation of the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer.
Our worship and fellowship are a balance between Anglican traditions and contemporary expressions of faith which allow us to reach out to our society and culture. In our evangelism and our service we seek to move outside ourselves to impact our community and our world with the good news of the redemptive and transforming power of Jesus Christ.
We strive to be a community where people from all walks of life feel welcomed, loved, and encouraged to grow in their faith and in good works. We support the discovery and use of each Christian’s spiritual gifts to build up the Body of Christ.
Our Story
Inspired by the GAFCON global movement of the Anglican communion, faithful to the Holy Scriptures and historic Christian practice, members from various Anglican churches in the West Island banded together in January 2009 in the gymnasium of Emmanuel Christian School and formed Saint Timothy’s Anglican Bible Church to be a distinctively gospel-centered, praying and singing church plant in the heart of the West Island of Montreal. Having hopped around various church locations throughout the years, we’ve currently settled into Lakeside Heights Baptist Church, where we rent the space on Sunday afternoons.
We nurture our fellowship through Bible studies, home groups and prayer groups, and aspire to be an incarnational presence in our community through outreach in senior homes, ministry relationships with sister churches across various evangelical denominations in our area, and serving others internationally through our Cuban church support program as well as the Anglican Relief & Development Fund.
