Our Mission

PROCLAIMING JESUS CHRIST AS SAVIOUR AND LORD,
AS REVEALED IN HOLY SCRIPTURE,
AND SERVING ALL PEOPLE FOR HIS SAKE.

Our Vision

We’re a Christ-centered and Bible-based church, built on a foundation of the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer.

Our worship and fellowship are a balance between Anglican traditions and contemporary expressions of faith which allow us to reach out to our society and culture. In our evangelism and our service we seek to move outside ourselves to impact our community and our world with the good news of the redemptive and transforming power of Jesus Christ.

We strive to be a community where people from all walks of life feel welcomed, loved, and encouraged to grow in their faith and in good works. We support the discovery and use of each Christian’s spiritual gifts to build up the Body of Christ.

NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS

SYNOD 2024 UPDATE

At Synod this year, in order to better express who we are now as a family of churches and as an established and growing diocese, it was decided that the Anglican Network in Canada’s (ANIC) name is now changing to the Anglican Diocese of Canada. Deacon Alan and Joy, who were present there this year, plan to give us an update at our next service on December 1st. Further information can be found on their website here.

A VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS | December 12, 14 & 15

Bethel Community Church presents a Musical Dinner Theatre celebrating the Yuletide Season of the 19th Century Pointe-Claire Village. Check out the menu and get your tickets here!

LESSONS & CAROLS SERVICE
| Sunday, December 22

We’re looking for some readers! Talk to Deacon Alan if you’d like to be a part of the service.

THE WORD ONE TO ONE

If you are interested in finding out more about this tool for reaching out with God’s Word to those who have not accepted Jesus as Christ and Lord of all, there will be a presentation table in the fellowship hall every Sunday, with videos and samples of the course books. For more information speak to Deacon Alan or visit their website here.

CUBAN CHURCH SUPPORT

Remember, our salary support for Pastor Miguel is ongoing, so we are continuing to collect funds. Consider, inflation is running at about 30% and shortages of basic food items is rampant across the whole island.

THE BANNER

The Thanksgiving Edition of The Banner newsletter is now available for download here. Read previous editions here.

ST. TIMOTHY’S CHRISTMAS BANNER
| Deadline December 17 by e-mail, December 15 in person (Barrie & Do)

Please consider contributing articles, recipes, etc. for our Christmas issue of The Banner. Remember it is also a good outreach tool to those we are reaching for Jesus.

Our editors plan to have it ready for December 22, our Service of Lessons & Carols.

VOLUNTEERS

Has the Holy Spirit been calling you to step out in service for the Lord, but you’re just not sure where?

LACORDE BREAKFAST SERVICE: Volunteers are needed to provide a pre-school hearty breakfast for the elementary students from the Cloverdale area. It is a basic, preset menu, so no great cooking skills are required. Just a willingness to meet at 6:30 AM on Fridays to prepare the menu and enjoy fellowship with the other volunteers and the children. If this fills what you are looking for speak to Chuck.
