MEET OUR NEW PASTOR | Rev. JOSIAH HENDERSON
During the service of February 23, our Wardens announced that Bishop Dan, on the recommendation of our Selection Committee, has appointed Rev. Josiah Henderson as our new Rector, effective June 1st, 2025. The reason for the delay is Rev. Josiah and his wife, Alicia, are expecting their third child sometime in April.
Josiah was born and raised in Montreal, where he attended Emmaus Anglican Church, met and married his wife Alicia, and graduated with a B.Th. Honours from McGill University. While completing an M.Div. at Wycliffe College, he served as a student intern at Christ the King Anglican Church in Toronto. And since October 2021, he has served as Curate for Children's and Student Ministries at St. Aidan's Church in Windsor. You can read more about him here.
THE WORD ONE TO ONE
If you are interested in finding out more about this tool for reaching out with God’s Word to those who have not accepted Jesus as Christ and Lord of all, there will be a presentation table in the fellowship hall every Sunday, with videos and samples of the course books. For more information speak to Deacon Alan or visit their website here.
CUBAN CHURCH SUPPORT
Remember, our salary support for Pastor Miguel is ongoing, so we are continuing to collect funds. Consider, inflation is running at about 30% and shortages of basic food items is rampant across the whole island.
Has the Holy Spirit been calling you to step out in service for the Lord, but you’re just not sure where?
LACORDE BREAKFAST SERVICE: Volunteers are needed to provide a pre-school hearty breakfast for the elementary students from the Cloverdale area. It is a basic, preset menu, so no great cooking skills are required. Just a willingness to meet at 6:30 AM on Fridays to prepare the menu and enjoy fellowship with the other volunteers and the children. If this fills what you are looking for speak to Chuck.

We’re a Christ-centered and Bible-based church, built on a foundation of the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer.
Our worship and fellowship are a balance between Anglican traditions and contemporary expressions of faith which allow us to reach out to our society and culture. In our evangelism and our service we seek to move outside ourselves to impact our community and our world with the good news of the redemptive and transforming power of Jesus Christ.
We strive to be a community where people from all walks of life feel welcomed, loved, and encouraged to grow in their faith and in good works. We support the discovery and use of each Christian’s spiritual gifts to build up the Body of Christ.
The Anglican Diocese of Canada (formerly the Anglican Network in Canada) is a continent-wide family of churches which, like the majority of Anglicans worldwide, remain faithful to established Christian doctrine and Anglican practice. It is a diocese in the Anglican Church in North America and part of the global GAFCON movement which represents approximately 70 of the 90 million Anglicans worldwide.
